Access to Do Sar Pass Trek

To pursue Sar pass trek you have to reach Kasol, which is 30 km from Bhunter near Kullu.Bhunter is connected with Delhi through the flight. Bhunter can also be reached from Delhi by National Highway NH 1 up to Ambala. From there NH 22 to Chandigarh and from there by national highway NH21 that passes through Bilaspur, Sundernagar, Mandi and Kullu towns. The road distance from Chandigarh to Manali is 316 km and the total distance from Delhi to Manali is 566 km. Buses (including Volvo and Mercedes-Benz) on this route are available from all major bus terminals.The nearest broad gauge railheads are atChandigarh (275 km), Pathankot(325 km) and Kalka (310 km). The nearest railhead is at Joginder Nagar (135 kilometers).

  • Protection and First-Aid: Sunscreen, toiletry kit, water purification tablets, Zip-lock bags, ear plugs, first-aid and all essential medicines.
  • Camping Equipment: Sleeping bags (extreme -5 to +5 Celsius) with liner, trekking poles, etc.
