Mount Jopuno , Sikkim


Mount Jopuno in Sikkim was declared as an Alpine peak by Sikkim government in 2006. Ever since there have been many successful peaks climbs at Mt Jopuno. The peak is slightly less than 6000 meters, standing at 5936 meters and offers a grand view of Himalayan ranges from the top. Note for the Mount Jopuno Climbers

The total tour will take about 15-17 days if you start your program from Delhi or some other major city of India. Ideally you will have to reach Kolkata and further, reach to Gangtok from Bagdogra via road. From Gangtok, you can easily drive to Yuksom from where Mt Jopuno is accessible.
